Since it was opened in 1967, the School has established a world-wide reputation for high academic standards, incorporating the traditional values of good manners, discipline, competition and commitment to the school.
We follow the National Curriculum for England and Wales up to the age of 14. From there, an International GCSE programme is undertaken. Students are offered the opportunity to pursue 'A' level courses within the school after 16. We are highly conscious of the need to ensure that our students are well prepared for eventual integration into the education systems and societies to which they will be returning. Students leave JPGS to pursue Higher Education in Universities worldwide.
We are a caring school with committed and highly qualified staff who recognise and foster the special abilities of each pupil. Every pupil is taught respect for self and others, with tolerance, confidence and understanding being key elements of our learning at JPGS. High standards of behaviour are demanded at all times with the School known in the community for having good discipline.
We have an enviable reputation for resources, facilities and the staff/pupil ratio throughout the school, along with top results for the IGCSE exams, placing us amongst the top 1% worldwide.
JPGS is a member of IAPS and accredited to the Independent Schools Joint Council and an Associate member of ECIS.
